FSHN Trend Alert: Spring/Summer 2015!

Hello Everyone,

I'm so excited about this post, because I LOVE this trend! Best part is it's wearable for women of many heights and sizes.
Enter the Co-ORD, an effortlessly chic, "coordinated," matching two-piece set. This look is classic, comfortable, and affordable. The versitile patterns, fabrics and shapes will give everyone's wardrobe a double dose of style this Spring and Summer. The best part is there's so many different ways to rock the co-ord trend!

1. Co-Ord Pant Set:
Does anyone else see the Audrey Hepburn meets Carrie Bradshaw influence here? Timeless. I rest my case.
These matching top and pant sets are wearable at the office, to Sunday brunch or even to an event like a summer wedding or baby shower.

Tapered pants are uber helpful for many reasons:

1. The high waist and length of the slim fit pant elongates the legs, which is great for adding height to your stature and elongating your legs. Shorties, be not afraid.

2. The tailoring of these pants can really do a woman's body justice!
As someone who is curvy, thick, and short (w/ a short waist), I sometimes find it difficult to find flattering clothing that I feel good in. I would never have tried this thinking it was more suited for narrow shapes. Well, boy was I wrong.
The high waist hits the smallest part of your torso, which covers muffin top and love handles. Getting the right size is everything. I suggest not trying to squeeze into a size smaller just because of the number. A properly fitting pant is much more flattering to your figure and you will feel way more comfortable wearing it.
This is also great for tall or slim type frames (cough* Taylor Swift). These will not drown your body! The cut, pattern and style will add dimension to your frame.

3. I LOVE a peep of the ankle in the cropped ankle pant (reference the first outfit above). That little bit of ankle might be more feminine and "sexy" than any amount of cleavage or skin shown.

4. These matching outfits are perfect for heels or flats!

2. Co-ORD Shorts Set
These matchy, matchy short sets are 'everything,' as Rachel Zoe would say. From professional suits to bohemian, festival looks, they are a versatile Spring and Summer essential! One of the best things about the matching top & shorts duo is that you can easily mix and match these pieces with the rest of your wardrobe-more bang for your buck!

1. A co-ord suit with appropriate-length-shorts, as the bottoms (pictured in the 1st look) are perfect for someone who's in a career where they're running around in the heat. A girl's gotta be comfortable too!
2. A crisp and classic go-to for a fancy daytime event or outing--this look has stress-free getting ready written all over it.
3. I'm loving the pom-pom, scalloped and fringe hemlines. They're really fun for festivals and other summer parties.
4. If you take a look at the last outfit pictured above, you'll see a casual, stripped co-ord. This simple look is comfortable and basic enough for everyday wear.

3. Co-Ord Skirt Set
I put together these 6 co-ord skirt & top pairings to show the difference that the fit, cut and fabric can make. Kim Kardashian on the left and Taylor Swift on the right! Both women are completely different heights and shapes, but they look equally amazing in this fashion must-have!
Say what you want about Kim Kardashian's body or her place in the fashion world, but the girl looks damn near perfect in this style. It's refreshing to see a style that's so comfortable and trendy for vuluptuous and cury women.
And on the other end of the spectrum, I think this might be one of the most (if not, the most!?) beautiful and sleek silhouettes for a small to flat-chested gal! Refer to the recent outfits of Taylor Swift (who, btw, never shows her belly button. Fact.). For all parties involved, you're gonna look good, girl!

Please leave a comment below and let me know which style you prefer from the co-ord looks I pulled together above, 1 pants, 2 shorts and 3 skirts? Which outfit are you thinking of wearing this Spring/Summer!? I definitely picked a favortie set from each of these collages. Can you guess which outfits I picked? :D

(Please let me know if there's anything I can post on that would be of interest! Ex: Plus size fashion, men's wear, outfits with sleeves, or without shorts, etc. whatever you want to see....I might just have the perfect tricks to help you feel and look your best!)

***Also if you would like to know where you can buy any of these looks, just leave a comment below and let me know!***
