Hot mama Hilary Duff, 27, is becoming quite the risk taker lately! Recently while on vacation in Mexico with her son Luca, she decided she wanted to do something wild with her hair. A fan of the pastel haircolor trend, she came back to the states and dyed her hair blue-ish green-AND it looked amazing! 

Between Lizzie Maguire, her 'girl next door' personality and being a mother, am I the only one who is surprised to see the actress, singer and author flaunting badass, aquamarine mermaid hair and tattoos? I'm not mad about it. I can't imagine my Mom with blue hair at Luca's age! #CoolMom

 But get this...she ditched her bluey-green mop for some GREY, PINK and slightly PURPLE locks (she added a "#nofilter" to this Instagram post in case you were wondering about how a filter might have affected the color). I have to say, she is doing this trend justice. I guess we can add her to the ranks of other bold celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Pink, Nicole Richie, Kelly Osborne, Kylie Jenner, and the list goes on. 

 *Here's a quick picture of what H.Duff looked like prior to tasting the rainbow. She's actually one of the few people who dyes their hair the right shade of blonde. Regardless, she's beautiful either way and we salute you for your hair-avery (hair-bravery)!
